Does MergeCore upload my script source code anywhere?
No — never. All file comparison happens locally on your machine. MergeCore only reads manifests and changelogs from our server. Your source code never leaves your computer, which keeps you fully compliant with Portal CFX and escrow rules.
Will an update overwrite my edited config files?
No. MergeCore detects your configured files and marks them as protected. When you apply an update, your settings stay exactly as you left them — only the actual code files get updated.
What happens if an update breaks something?
Every apply automatically creates a restore point. If anything goes wrong, you roll back to the previous version in a single click — no manual file recovery needed.
Which frameworks and script stores are supported?
