MergeCore ("we", "our", "us") operates the mergecore.net website and the MergeCore desktop application (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

Account Information: When you subscribe via Patreon, we receive your Patreon user ID, email address, full name, and membership tier through Patreon's OAuth system. We do not store your Patreon password.
Device Information: The MergeCore desktop application generates a unique hardware identifier (HWID) based on your system configuration. This is used solely for license binding to prevent unauthorized sharing.
Usage Data: We collect basic telemetry about which scripts are managed through MergeCore, update history, and error logs to improve the Service.
Server Information: When you scan your FiveM server directory, file names and resource metadata are processed locally. We do not upload your server files, scripts, or configurations to our servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To verify your subscription status and manage your license
- To bind your license to a single device (HWID)
- To deliver script updates and manage version history
- To communicate important service updates or security notices
- To improve the reliability and performance of our Service
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secured servers. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all communications between the desktop application and our API.
Subscription data, HWID bindings, and account information are stored in a PostgreSQL database with restricted access.
5. Third-Party Services
We integrate with the following third-party services:
- Patreon — for subscription management and payment processing. Patreon's privacy policy applies to payment data. We never receive or store your credit card information.
- Discord — for optional community and support features. We may store your Discord ID if you connect it to your account.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as you have an active subscription. If you cancel your subscription, we retain basic records (Patreon ID, email, cancellation date) for up to 12 months for accounting and support purposes, after which they are permanently deleted.
You may request immediate deletion of your data by contacting us.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Request a reset of your HWID binding
- Withdraw consent at any time by cancelling your subscription
